"If a worker wants to do his work well, he must first sharpen his tools." This sentence comes from "The Analects of Confucius·Wei Linggong". This sentence means that if you want to do something well, you must first prepare suitable and easy-to-use tools. The same is true for bonsai. In order to better enjoy the fun brought by bonsai, we first need to prepare professional and suitable tools.

As a beginner, Aimu does not recommend preparing a full set of these tools. On the one hand, many tools are not needed by beginners, and on the other hand, this series of full tools is also expensive to buy. Therefore, Aimu proposes that the first principle of bonsai tool preparation is: sufficient, practical, easy to use, and durable. As a bonsai beginner, the tools that need to be prepared are generally entry-level.

As entry-level tools, the following 3 scissors are necessary. Because for a bonsai beginner, the first goal is to keep the material alive, and then learn the initial coiling, repotting and pruning, so there are not many tools needed.

Branch shears: also called pruning shears, pruning shears, as the name suggests, are used to prune branches and trunks, and are the most commonly used gardening tools.

The pruning shears are mainly composed of two parts: passive shears and active shears. Auxiliary components include springs, safety locks and screws, etc., which vary slightly from brand to brand.
